Friday Night Contra Dance

All are welcome to come and dance; you don’t need to bring a partner. Contra dancing is easy to learn. We have beginners lessons for anyone who hasn’t done it before, or wants a reminder.

We are dancing on the first and third Friday of the month.

Check the schedule for 2nd and 5th Fridays, and Post-Thanksgiving dances!

Some Fifth Fridays will feature an OPEN BAND. Info and registration here (registration not required, but will be VERY helpful for the organizer!)

English Country Dancing

We have have a monthly series of English dancing with live music on second Sundays. The dances run from 4-6 PM at the Friends Meeting House. It runs from Sept-May.

Year round Monday Night English to recorded music at Sevier Park Community Center. All are welcome, and it’s free. If you love contra dance and would like to try English dance, this is a great opportunity!

We run an annual Midwinter Day of English Dancing

And don’t forget our annual Playford Ball weekend featuring some of the nation’s best talent!
